And many of you have asked for a little more information about registration, the schedule of events, and hotels in the area. Thank you for your patience.

Some ideas to save on hotel costs

    1. Share a room with another Lobby Day participant. If you are interested in sharing a room and would like NCTE to help connect you with a roommate, please specify that in your RSVP email.

    2. Book a room in a hotel just outside of DC (for example, Crystal City, VA; Arlington, VA; Falls Church VA; Silver Spring, MD; Bethesda, MD)

    3. Use an online search engine for special internet room rates (for example, www.sidestep.com; www.expedia.com; www.kayak.com; www.priceline.com)

    Attire

Business/professional attire is recommended for meetings with members of Congress and their staff. Also, comfortable shoes are recommended for Tuesday visits, as youll likely be walking and on your feet for much of the day.
